National Santri Day, Chairman Of The Bogor City DPRD Invites Santri To Become A Development Actor

BOGOR - Chairman of the Bogor City DPRD, Adityawarman Adil, said that since the era of Indonesia's struggle for independence, the role of santri has been very large as part of the resistance movement.

"So in today's era, he invites students to play a role as development actors to achieve Indonesia Gold 2045," Adityawarman also commemorated the 2024 National Santri Day by participating in an apple at the Bogor City Hall, Tuesday.

This is of course in line with the theme carried on National Santri Day, namely 'Contwining the Juang Strengthening the Future'.

"In the past, students played the role of freedom fighters, the time is now to act as development actors," said Adit.

Furthermore, Adit revealed that the Bogor City DPRD continues to be committed to helping students to be able to play an active role in development.

The presence of Regional Regulation number 2 of 2022 concerning Facilitation for the Implementation of Islamic Boarding Schools, is expected by Adit to become the legal umbrella and program basis for the Bogor City Government to pay attention to the presence of students in Bogor City.

Because based on the records in the Bogor City DPRD, there are 140 Islamic boarding schools in Bogor City. So it is important for the Bogor City Government to contribute to the development of Islamic boarding schools in Bogor City.

"Hopefully Islamic boarding schools in Bogor City will be able to produce great students to become the driving force towards Indonesia Gold 2045," he concluded.
