PT Taspen Investment In Insight Investment Management Invested By KPK

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating investments made by PT Taspen (Persero) at PT Insight Investment Management (IIM) which led to fraudulent practices.

This step was taken by examining Thomas Harmanto as Director of PT IIM as a witness on Tuesday, October 22.

"Witness TH as Director of PT IIM was present. He was investigated regarding PT Taspen's investment in PT IIM," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, October 23.

Tessa said that there were actually other witnesses who would be examined but were not present. Based on the information obtained, this witness is the Head of Remoa as an employee of PT IIM.

"The witness asked for a reschedule on October 30, 2024," he said.

As for other witnesses, they also did not attend and asked for a reschedule. Tessa said there were three witnesses asking to be examined on October 29.

The witnesses took care of the household as Indriani, Kamila Marwa Hanifa as a private employee, Raisa Hana Sajidah as a student or student, and a private employee named Didi Hernandez.

As previously reported, the KPK decided to increase the status of handling allegations of corruption at PT Taspen (Persero) from an investigation to an investigation. Antonius NS Kosasih who is the main director is inactive is a suspect in this case.

Kosasih has also been prevented from leaving the country for six months to facilitate the investigation of cases. This forced effort also applies to Ekiawan Heri Primaryanto as President Director of Insight Investments Management.

In this case, PT Taspen is suspected of making fictitious investments of up to Rp1 trillion. The funds were transferred in a number of forms such as stocks to sukuk.
