DPR Agrees With Lasarus To Be Chairman Of Commission V

JAKARTA - The DPR leadership together with members of Commission V of the DPR have agreed that members of the PDI-P faction, Lasarus, will become Chairman of Commission V of the DPR after a plenary meeting announcing the composition of the leadership for each commission or board equipment.

The decision was made by Lasarus as Chairman of Commission V of the DPR led by the Chairman of the DPR, Puan Maharani. Puan also agreed that the other four names would be the leaders of Commission V of the DPR.

Commission V of the DPR is a commission in charge of infrastructure and transportation affairs. Partnering with the Ministry of Public Works, Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Villages, Development and Disadvantaged Regions, Ministry of Transmigration, BMKG, and Basarnas.

"Can the names of the leaders of Commission V of the DPR be approved?" said DPR Speaker Puan Maharani while chairing the DPR Commission V meeting, Tuesday, October 22.

Lasarus is currently the Chairman of Commission V of the DPR RI accompanied by four deputy chairmen, namely Ridwan Bae (Golkar Party Faction), Andi Iwan Darmawan (Gerindra Party Faction), Roberth Rouw (NasDem Faction), and Syaiful Huda (PKB Faction).

After being official, the five leaders of Commission V of the DPR were asked by Puan Maharani to receive the hammer of the trial symbolically. Then they together with the leadership of the DPR carried out a photo together holding the hammer of the trial.

The DPR Plenary Meeting approved the composition of the commission leadership consisting of 20 chairmen and 80 deputy chairmen for each commission or board equipment (AKD), consisting of 13 commissions and seven bodies.

From the meeting to determine the composition of the commission leadership, it was shown that the table contained the composition of the leadership. The PDIP faction, the Golkar Party, and the Gerindra Party filled almost all the commission chair in the DPR.

The quota for leadership seats in 13 commissions and 7 agencies in the DPR, namely the PDIP faction, received the positions of 4 chairmen and 16 representatives, the Golkar faction with 3 chairmen and 17 representatives, the Gerindra faction received 3 chairmen and 16 representatives.

Then, the NasDem Faction received seats for 3 chairmen and 6 representatives, the PKB faction 2 chairmen and 9 representatives, the PKS faction 2 chairmen and 6 representatives, the PAN faction 2 chairmen and 4 representatives, and the Democratic Faction received a seat of 1 chairman and 6 representatives.
