Secretary General Of The MPR: God Willing, Megawati Attends The Prabowo-Gibran Inauguration

JAKARTA - Acting Secretary-General of the MPR Siti Fauziah said, God willing, when answering about the confirmation of the presence of the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri at the inauguration ceremony of the President and Vice President-elect Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming.

Meanwhile, when asked about the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, he ensured that the nation's figure would attend.

"Mr. SBY is here," said Siti as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, October 18.

In addition, according to him, presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 election, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md will attend the inauguration event.

According to him, the inauguration ceremony for the president and vice president is predicted to be attended by around 1,100 people in the plenary meeting room which is the main venue for the inauguration ceremony.

The figure of around 1,100 people consists of 732 members of the DPR and members of the DPD.

Today, the MPR is holding preparations for a dirty rehearsal for the inauguration of the elected president and vice president. So far, preparations for the event have reached 80 percent.

"We have actually done the preparations in advance, if this is just an implementation," he said.
