238 US Doctors Urge Trump To Release A Medical Record, Dare To Be Transparent In Health Conditions

JAKARTA - More than 238 doctors, nurses, and other health workers (nakes) have urged presidential candidate Donald Trump to release his medical record.

They reasoned that Trump had to be transparent about his health condition considering that he was getting older and stepped forward for the 2024 United States (US) presidential election.

"Trump is very far from the standard of feasibility to take office and shows worrying characteristics in the form of a decline in sharpness," wrote 238 doctors and health workers who signed the press letter to Trump dated October 13, 2024 and obtained CBS News, Tuesday, October 15.

"On a limited occasion that we can use to check his behavior [Trump], he provides a very worrying picture."

In the letter of pressure, doctors and health workers are members of the "Doctors for Harris" group, which is said to be not affiliated with Trump's rival presidential campaign, Kamala Harris.

According to the doctors and health workers, it has become common for the candidates for the US Presidential Election to reveal their medical records, including Arizona Senator John McCain, who twice ran for US President, died on Saturday, August 25.

They also mentioned why Trump was more transparent in releasing his medical record as he ran in the 2020 US Presidential Election against Joe Biden.

"As we get older, we lose our sharpness and return to our basic instincts. We see it from Trump, when he uses a rally and his appearance to ramble, strain, and roughly vent a lot of complaints he feels," reads the letter of pressure to Trump again.
