Uploaded By The Ministry Of State Affairs On Jokowi Attending Atta-Aurel's Marriage Criticized By Ernest, PDIP: Socialization Is Not Showing Off!

JAKARTA - A comic Ernest Prakasa also criticized the marriage of celebrities Atta Halilintar and Aurel Hermansyah because President Jokowi's presence was uploaded to the official account of the Ministry of State Secretariat.

Ernest considered that President Jokowi's attendance at Atta and Aurel's wedding had nothing to do with the interests of the state.

"What's the relation with the state, huh?," chirped Ernest on his Twitter account @ErnestPrakasa, Sunday, April 4.

Ernest felt that there was something odd if the marriage of Atta and Aurel was also published by the State Secretariat.

"Politicians want to close together, it is understandable. But if it is also published using the State Secretariat account, I think it is strange," wrote Ernest again.

Responding to Ernest's criticism, PDIP, as a supporter of the government, also reacted. PDIP politician Hendrawan Supratikno assessed that the Ministry of State's upload was only limited to information for millennials.

"It is broadcasted to show that social media and the millennial generation are important and increasingly decisive in the future," Hendrawan said to VOI, Monday, March 5.

He also emphasized that the Twitter account of the Ministry of State Secretariat's official account was not intended to show off, let alone be seen as seeking popularity.

"More as a means of socializing activities rather than showing off or snobbism," he said.

Hendrawan considered it too much if there were parties who called politicians 'hitchhiking fame' for attending the wedding of this rising young celebrity couple.

"I think it's an exaggeration to think that Mr. Jokowi is still infatuated with popularity," said Hendrawan.

Previously, the Ministry of State Secretariat published the presence of President Jokowi and the first lady at the wedding of Atta Halilintar and Aurel Hermansyah.
