Hezbollah's Priority Is To Defeat Israel, But Opens Option To Terminate Aggression Through Diplomacy

JAKARTA - Hezbollah are determined to defeat Israel militarily but they are open to any attempt to stop the "aggression".

This was conveyed by the head of the Lebanese media office, Mohammad Afif, on Friday, October 11.

Conflicts between Israel and Hezbollah have escalated in recent weeks, with Israel bombing southern Lebanon, the southern suburbs of Beirut, and the Bekaa Valley, killing many of Hezbollah's main leaders, and sending ground troops to southern Lebanon.

Afif denied any weapons were stored on the southern outskirts of Beirut and said Israel used a time-fixed bomb to make it look like that.

Hezbollah promised residents in the neighborhood and those displaced from southern Lebanon and Bekaa they would return soon.
