The Prosecutor's Office Asks For PUPR Documents To Search Corruption In The Management Of Domestic Waste Bima NTB

The Prosecutor's Office asked the Bima City Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency (PUPR) to submit documents related to the domestic wastewater management program.

Head of the Special Crimes Section of the Bima Kejari, Catur Hidayat, said that the request for the document was part of a series of investigations into cases of alleged corruption in the management of domestic waste water in 2020-2023.

"In this investigation process, we have asked the PUPR of Bima City in the form of documents related to the domestic waste management program, now the data is being prepared," he said in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Thursday, October 10, which was confiscated by Antara.

In addition to asking for data, the prosecutor's office in this investigation also carried out a series of witness examinations.

Catur emphasized that the witnesses who were included in the examination agenda were those who had previously provided information at the investigation stage.

"The point is, everything we have clarified in the investigation, we are planning to be examined at the investigation stage as witnesses," he said.

The implementation of the program aimed at suppressing environmental pollution in Bima City, Catur ensures that it is present in every physical project work for the construction of distribution networks and drainage.

From the search for the Bima City Electronic Procurement Service page, there are quite a lot of projects with the work name listed.

At least in the period 2020-2023, there were 20 work items at the village level with a nominal work budget of up to hundreds of millions of rupiah on average.
