Gerindra Calls Prabowo-Gibran Cabinet There Are Ministers Of The Jokowi Era And PDIP Cadres

JAKARTA - Secretary-General of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani revealed the composition of the cabinets of the elected president and vice president Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Muzani admitted that there were several ministers under President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who would re-enter Prabowo's cabinet, including ministers from PDIP cadres.

"As far as I know there is (a minister from the Jokowi government). God willing, there will be (from PDIP)," said Muzani, who is also the chairman of the MPR at the MPR building, the parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, last Wednesday.

However, Muzani did not explain in detail the minister of the Prabowo-Gibran cabinet. However, he said, the good Jokowi era ministers would be invited back into the Prabowo-Gibran cabinet.

"Mr. Prabowo has already said the names of Pak Jokowi's good cabinet will be used to help him. So yes, the name is considered good and is still quite fit to be used," said Muzani.

Furthermore, Muzani said the exact number of ministries is still in the process of being finalized, including the nomenclature. "People and nomenclature have begun to be compiled and some have even started to be called," said Muzani.

According to him, it is possible that the ministers will be announced by Prabowo the day after the inauguration or on October 21, 2024. "Wait, basically, 20 (October) will be sworn in, maybe 21 will be announced," concluded Muzani.

Previously, Gibran Rakabuming Raka revealed that the cabinet preparation for the upcoming government was almost complete. Later, Prabowo Subianto will announce the detailed composition directly. "It's almost 100% (cash preparation). Later, the president will announce it," said Gibran in South Jakarta, last Wednesday.

Gibran confirmed that he was involved in the preparation of the cabinet. "Oh, yes, definitely (involved)," said Gibran.
