NTB - The Mataram City Police in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) has named a man with the initials AH who is a former husband of Selebgram Dwita Qorina Agesti (21) as a suspect in the persecution.

Head of the Mataram Police Satreskrim Kompol I Made Yogi Purusa Utama said the determination was based on the results of the case title which had found at least two criminal evidences.

"At least there are two pieces of evidence that have been fulfilled, witness statements and the victim's post-mortem, so from the results of the case title, we have named the victim's ex-husband as a suspect," said Yogi in Mataram, NTB, Wednesday, October 9, quoted by Antara.

Investigators have named AH as a suspect in the alleged abuse case with the alleged violation of Article 351 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.

"So, from the results of the determination of the suspect, we did not detain the person concerned because the threat of punishment from the article we suspect is under 5 years," he said.

Furthermore, Yogi explained that investigators in handling this case had sent a notification letter for the start of the investigation (SPDP) to the reporter, in this case the victim and the prosecutor's office.

"If you have sent the SPDP, it means that today is stage one (transmitting files to the research prosecutor), just wait for the P-16 (an order for the appointment of the public prosecutor) from the prosecutor, we coordinate, that's the current process," he said.

Regarding the news that AH before he was a suspect had made peace efforts with the victim, Yogi admitted that he had not received this information.

"But, of course, we from the APH (law enforcement officers) freed both parties to sit down together. If there is an agreement, we will definitely process it further, but until now there has been no (peace)," he said.

The police are handling this alleged abuse case based on reports from victims who are celebrities from Central Lombok Regency.

This allegation of persecution took place in the early hours of Friday, September 20, on Jalan AA Gede Ngurah, Cakranegara area, Mataram City. The persecution took place after the two left The Kingsman Resto & Lounge Lombok.

After leaving the entertainment venue, the victim and her ex-husband planned to go to a hotel in the Mataram City area using a taxi.

While heading to the hotel, the two fought in a taxi, because the victim refused to go to the hotel and chose to return to The Kingsman Resto & Lounge Lombok.

The driver as a witness in this case witnessed the suspect molesting the victim. As a result of receiving such treatment, the victim reported AH to the Mataram Police.
