JAKARTA - The Director General of Village Government Development, Ministry of Home Affairs, La Ode Ahmad Pidana Bolombo revealed that the Head of Village Campus (KDMK) program was designed according to the characteristics and results of mapping, with village heads who participate in the program will receive assistance from the ministry.
This was said by La Ode in conjunction with the closing of the KDMK Program Series II which was attended by village heads from 32 provinces at the University of Indonesia, Depok, Thursday (16/7).
"Today is the final series of activities for the Head of the Village to Enter the Campus of the Second Generation. This is actually one unit with the First Generation which was opened 30 June ago. Today is the closing," said La Ode as quoted from a written statement, Thursday (16/7).
He further explained that the training material was not generally prepared, but based on the results of surveys and identification of the village's potential before participants participated in the activity.
"So these people, before we invited them to this campus, we and the UI team conducted a survey. We conducted identification and research in several areas as samples to become draft modules and teaching materials at this campus," explained La Ode.
In addition, according to him, the material provided is tailored to the characteristics of each village, ranging from the tourism and ecotourism sector, government digitization, to agriculture, plantations, and fisheries.
"They come based on the characteristics of the potential advantages that exist in their respective villages and regions. So that the teaching materials provided are really tailored to the needs of the village," he explained.
He added that the preparation of materials was also based on the results of mapping the village conditions, so that learning became more relevant to the needs of each region.
"We adjust the village profiling and characteristics in each village. Based on the results of surveys and interviews in the field, a teaching material formula was born that was specifically designed for the learning of Village Heads to Enter Campus," he said.
La Ode said that the enthusiasm of the participants during the training was very high. Based on the reports of the instructors and the committee, the village heads felt honored to be invited to attend the learning at the University of Indonesia.
"The enthusiasm of the participants was extraordinary. They are from 32 provinces. Alhamdulillah they feel an award, an honor that they can be presented by the central government as village heads present at one of the best campuses in Indonesia, the University of Indonesia," he said.
After the three-day training, the Ministry of Home Affairs did not immediately release the participants. All village heads will receive online assistance for two months to ensure that the results of the training can be applied.
"When they come home, we do assistance for about two months online. We monitor them, we assist, then we evaluate how effective the learning results were. Then we give more applicable guidance," concluded La Ode.
