Central Lombok DPRD Member Initials LN Becomes Suspect In Case Of Forgery Of Package C Certificate

The Central Lombok Resort Police, West Nusa Tenggara, named a member of the local DPRD with the initials LN as a suspect in the alleged forgery of the 2007 school year C package diploma.

"We have named LN as a suspect after going through a series of investigations and investigations and asked for statements from several witnesses, including experts," said Head of the Central Lombok Police Criminal Investigation Unit Iptu Luk il Maqnun in Central Lombok, Antara, Wednesday, October 9.

The determination of the suspect against a member of the Central Lombok DPRD with the initials LN was based on several pieces of evidence and strengthened by the statements of several witnesses, including criminal law experts from a number of universities.

"During this case, we have examined a total of 17 witnesses, including criminal experts from two universities," he explained.

Central Lombok Police Satreskrim investigators conducted a case title on Saturday (5/10) and then named the legislator with the initials LN as a suspect in the alleged forgery of diplomas.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit said that the suspect was subject to Article 266 Paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code with a maximum imprisonment of seven years.

"For LN, we have sent a letter summoning the first suspect which will be attended on Friday, October 11, 2024," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Central Lombok Police, Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Iwan Hidayat, said this case was part of the consistency of the police in responding to every public report.

"This is a form of our commitment to follow up on every community report. If that is true, we say it is true, if it is wrong, we say it is wrong," he explained.

The police chief also asked all parties to accept this decision and fully submit the case to the police to follow up according to the applicable law.
