TANGERANG - Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf visited Sudirman's orphanage in Tangerang City. Saifullah's arrival was to see firsthand the condition of the orphanage where the act of sexual abuse was carried out by dozens of boys.

Saifullah Yusuf said, based on data from the Ministry of Social Affairs, Sudirman's orphanage was not licensed.

"Nothing at all, including blanks," Saifullah told reporters in the Pinang area, Tangerang City, Tuesday, October 8.

Saifullah said this orphanage had been established since 2008. But this place does not have a permit.

"Since 2008," he said after asking the local RW.

Saifullah appealed to residents who want to establish an orphanage to have to take care of their permits first, one of which is to the RT/RW.

In addition, Saifullah asked the Tangerang City Regional Government (Pemda) to carry out strict supervision.

"That's why in the future I will appeal to one of the requirements in order to establish an orphanage, get the approval of local residents. Establishing like this must be approved by residents," he said.

For information, as many as 18 children became victims of sexual abuse Sudirman, the owner of an orphanage in Pinang, Tangerang City. Sudirman and Yusuf and Yandi have become suspects.
