JAKARTA - Candidate for Governor of Jakarta number 01, Ridwan Kamil, told about himself choosing to ride an online motorcycle taxi (ojol) to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Gerindra Party Jakarta DPD office in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Saturday, October 5.

The man who is familiarly called RK is willing to heat up to catch time by riding an ojol as well as avoiding traffic jam. It is known that today, Jakarta residents are enjoying the defense equipment exhibition during the celebration of the TNI's 79th Anniversary at Monas, Central Jakarta.

"Just now witnessed the problem of residents riding motorcycle taxis because the traffic jams around Lapangan Banteng arrived here are indeed hot," said Ridwan Kamil.

RK also apologized if the arrival was a little late at the Gerindra Jakarta DPD office. The former governor of West Java said that he could still choose to ride a car if he was 'peak' in Jakarta.

"So I apologize for being late, I'm usually rarely late. If it's spoiled, I can still get in the car, but it won't get here early," he said.

Ridwan Kamil and his deputy Suswono did not forget to congratulate the inauguration of the new office of the Gerindra Jakarta DPD. According to the man who is also familiarly called Kang Emil, Gerindra is one of the driving forces for the Indonesian coalition party advanced by KIM Plus.

"Congratulations on the new building which was inaugurated today. As the main motor in the KIM coalition which also carries President-elect Prabowo Subianto, we hope that this same building will make Gerindra Jakarta's performance more extraordinary, usually taking care of the people by providing solutions," he said.

To note, this is not the first time RK has chosen to take an ojol to events that will be attended. When he was going to attend the draw for the candidate pair number to the Jakarta KPUD, the former mayor of Bandung also used ojol services to avoid traffic jams in Jakarta.
