JAKARTA - The 44th President of the United States (US) Barack Obama went down the mountain to campaign to support the presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
Quoting CBN News, Friday, October 4, Obama is scheduled to campaign for Harris to beat Donald Trump from Thursday 10 October in Pittsburgh.
The first African-American citizen to become US president will hold a flash campaign across the US state and end in November near the 2024 US presidential election.
Obama has been a loyal supporter of Harris since he was in the elite ranks of the Democratic Party. He officially expressed support a few days after Democrats replaced the presidential candidate promoted by Joe Biden to Harris.
"Kamala Harris will not focus on the problem, he will focus on your problems," Obama said in a speech at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in August 2024.
"As a presidential candidate, he will not only serve his own supporters, and punish those who refuse to kiss the ring or fall to his knees. He will work on behalf of every American citizen. That's Kamala," Obama continued.
Obama's first campaign will take place in one of the battleground states most contested by two pairs of US presidential candidates.
