JAKARTA - Lebanese soldiers said their personnel carried out a retaliatory attack after one of their soldiers was killed in an Israeli attack on military facilities in southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Armed Forces said the army was killed when Israel targeted a military center in the South Jbeil Bint area and postal personnel responding to the source of the fire.
As reported by CNN, Friday, October 4, another Lebanese soldier was killed in a separate incident on Thursday while carrying out a rescue and evacuation mission with the country's Red Cross.
