Israel Claims To Kill 15 Hezbollah Militants In Lebanon, 2 Ethiopians Also Killed

JAKARTA - Two people were reportedly killed after Israel carried out airstrikes on several parts of Lebanon overnight.

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said it attacked about 200 Hezbollah targets overnight in Lebanese territory, including at the militant group's infrastructure site, weapons storage facilities and observation posts in southern Lebanon.

Reported by CNN, Thursday, October 3, the IDF said the Israeli Air Force attacked a building in Bint Jbeil, southern Lebanon, which they said was operated by Hezbollah militants including a arsenal of weapons deviation. The attack killed 15 Hezbollah fighters.

The Lebanese-run NNA said two Ethiopian nationals were killed in an Israeli attack on the western coastal district of Tyre, also said Bint Jbeil was targeted.

More than tens of airstrikes were also reported to have occurred on the southern outskirts of Beirut, which was the target of Israeli air aggression and warplanes, NNA said.

The Israeli military in recent days has repeatedly bombed the southern suburbs of the capital, which is the base of Hezbollah.

The attack comes as about 25 projectiles and two drones crossed Israeli territory from Lebanon on Thursday morning, according to the IDF. No injuries were reported.
