Proven Corruption, Badung Traditional Village Sentenced To 4 Years In Prison

The Denpasar Corruption Court (Tipikor) panel of judges sentenced Defendant I Ketut Riana, Bendesa Adat Berawa, Badung Regency, Bali for being proven guilty of corruption.

"The trial, stated that Defendant I Ketut Riana was legally and convincingly proven guilty of continuing to commit a criminal act of corruption. Sentencing the defendant to be sentenced to 4 (four) years in prison," said Panel of Judges Gede Putra Astawa in a verdict hearing at the Denpasar Corruption Court. reported by ANTARA, Thursday, October 3.

In addition to being sentenced to 4 years, the defendant Ketut Riana was sentenced to a fine of Rp. 200 million, provided that if the fine was not paid, it would be replaced with imprisonment for 4 (four) months.

The judge determined that the period of arrest and detention that the defendant had served was deducted entirely from the sentence imposed, with the order to remain in custody.

The judge asked for evidence in the form of cash in the amount of Rp. 100 million which was in BRI's brown envelope and wrapped in a yellow beard bag papa's was returned to witness Andianto Nahak T Moruk.
