Malaysian Police Have Arrested A Man From Nepal Who Had The Heart To Throw A Baby In The Taiping River

JAKARTA - Malaysian police arrested a 34-year-old Nepalese citizen in connection with the body of a newborn dumped on the riverbank of the Larut area, Taiping, Malaysia.

This arrest started when a Cambodian woman who gave birth at the Taiping Hospital admitted that her baby had died but was not with her.

The woman who had been named a suspect was then escorted by the police to the location where the person concerned dumped the baby.

"The suspect took the police to the location where the baby's body was dumped near the river," said Taiping Police Chiefbak Mohamad Nasir Ismail, Thursday, October 3, quoted from Bernama.

The police who investigated this case revealed that the baby had just been born and dumped.

For their behavior, Cambodian citizens and Nepalese citizens are suspected of Article 318 of the Malaysian Criminal Code regarding the hiding of birth by secret disposal of corpses.

If found guilty, both of them face up to two years in prison, with a fine.
