BTN Wins IDEAWARD 2024 Award, Recognition Of Implementation Of ESG-Based Principles

JAKARTA - BTN has again received an award. This time from the IDEAWARD 2024 in the Creative category for Sustainability and Environmental Creativity. The award was given at the Assembly Hall Jakarta Convention Center, Friday, September 27, 2024. BTN is one of the banks among the winners of the IDEAWRD 2024 award, which is an award for agencies and individuals who make a significant contribution to creativity and innovation in Indonesia.

A number of significant steps have also been taken by BTN in implementing the sustainability principle, both internally and at the community level. Several efforts made internally related to ESG are reducing the use of up to 78 million pieces of paper and increasing the use of digital applications. With this step, the company has been able to save 9,822 trees so that it is enough to cut carbon consumption in its business operations.

BTN has started sustainable products and services, for example ESG-based credit (ESG-based corporate loans) whose distribution has reached IDR 3.36 trillion, as well as Low Emissions Houses whose programs have recently started together with environmentally friendly development partners and building material producers.

In the social realm, BTN is also at the forefront of creating equal, supportive, and empowering workplaces, including employees of women and employees with disabilities. Not only that, BTN also applies good governance, integrated in the company's risk management.
