The Discovery Of A Body Covered In Blood In Sawah Gegerkan, A Banjarnegara Resident

BANJARNEGARA - A resident of Klampok Village in Purwareja Klampok District, Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java, was shocked by the discovery of the body of a man lying in a rice field area with his head covered in blood last Sunday.

The news of the discovery of the corpse quickly spread through social media after a video showing the condition of the corpse went viral. In the recording that lasted about one minute, it was clear that the man was wearing a t-shirt and shorts, with blood running from his head and spots on his left hand. Near his body, a red Honda Vario motorcycle was found with a license plate number R 6658 ZM.

Banjarnegara Deputy Police Chief Kompol Purbo Adjar Waskito said the victim when he was found in a very pathetic condition with blood running on the back of his head.

"When found, the victim was in a supine position, and no identity was found at the location," said Purbo Adjar, Monday, September 30.

The victim was then evacuated to the Margono Hospital in Banyumas for an autopsy to identify the cause of his death. The police also plan to further identify the motorbike found at the scene.

When asked about the possibility of an element of murder in this case, Purbo said, the investigation was still ongoing.

"We have not been able to confirm the cause of death. We are still waiting for the autopsy results to obtain further information," said Purbo.
