Forward To The West Java Regional Head Election, Ahmad Syaikhu Wants To Continue The Successful Aher Program

KARAWANG - Ahmad Syaikhu revealed the plans that will be carried out if he is the Governor of West Java. He is determined to continue a number of the flagship programs that have been successful from Aher (Ahmad Heryawan) who is now in the governor's seat.

"There are a number of successful programs that were first rolled out by Kang Aher and will be continued later," said Syaikhu during his visit to the Asih Struggle House in Karawang, as published in ANTARA, Sunday, September 29.

Syaikhu said that among the programs that were quite successful for former West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan, they were in the education sector.

"One of Kang Aher's flagship programs that we will continue is to improve education infrastructure, especially the construction of new classrooms," he said.

He emphasized that this must continue because until now there are still many schools in West Java that need to improve classrooms, even though they have contributed greatly to the advancement of education in this region.

In addition, Syaikhu also highlighted the condition of Islamic boarding schools in West Java which still have shortcomings, especially in dormitory facilities.

Due to this condition, he expressed his commitment to improving pesantren facilities such as sanitation as well as facilities and infrastructure to ensure that students can grow and study optimally.

"Pesantren di Jawa Barat memiliki potensi besar. Kami akan memastikan fasilitas di pesantren memadai sehingga para santri dapat belajar dengan nyaman, sehat, dan berkembang dengan baik," katanya.

Meanwhile, in his campaign in Karawang, Ahmad Syaikhu visited a number of points to attend activities in the area, including filling the cultum and becoming the imam of the Fajr prayer at the Telukjambe Grand Mosque, joint sports at Perumnas Telukjambe, attending a meeting with farmer figures in Telagasari, and congregating with fishermen in Cilamaya Kulon, Karawang.

The General Election Commission (KPU) of West Java Province has appointed four pairs of candidates for governor and deputy governor, including the Ahmad Syaikhu-Ilham Akbar Habibie pair.

Participants in the Election of the Governor and other Deputy Governor of West Java, namely the Dedi Mulyadi-Erwan Setiawan pair, KH Acep Adang Ruhiat-Gitalis Dwi Natrina, and the Jeje Wiradinata-Ronald Surapradja pair.
