South Tangerang KPU Calls Pilkada Debate Will Be Held At The End Of October 2024

TANGERANG - The General Election Commission (KPU) of South Tangerang City (Tangsel) will hold a debate on candidate pairs for mayor and deputy mayor in the 2024 Pilkada.

The Socialization Division, Education for Community Participation Voters and Human Resources of the South Tangerang City KPU, Heni Lestari said it would hold, the first debate session will be held at the end of October, and the second debate session will be held in early November.

"When it comes to the timing, it will be broadcast on which television station it is not yet, because we have not plenary," Heni said when confirmed, Friday, September 27.

Furthermore, the plenary session will discuss the location of the debate session and consider television broadcasting which has a wide reach to the public.

"For that room, I hope to accommodate all supporters of the Paslon and invitees in the debate, such as election organizers, elements of the government, society, academics and other professional elements," he said.

As for some of the themes during the debate session that will be discussed by the moderators to the contestants, the six themes are: 1. Reflect efforts in order to improve the welfare of the community2. Advance regions3. Improve services to the community 4. Solve regional problems 5. Complement the implementation of regional and provincial development with national and 6. Strengthen the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and the nation.
