Secretarys To 2 Members Of The Semarang City DPRD Are Worked On By The KPK Today

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned 10 witnesses for alleged corruption in the Semarang City Government (Pemkot) today, Monday, September 23. Among them are the Secretary of the Semarang City DPRD MI and S and HSS who are members of the Semarang City DPRD for the 2019-2024 period.

"The KPK has scheduled an examination of witnesses suspected of corruption within the Semarang City Government," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Monday, September 23.

In addition to the three people, Tessa detailed that the other witnesses who were summoned were S as a civil servant; D as the administrator of the Semarang City Gapensi for the 2019-2024 period; Deputy Secretary of the Semarang City Gapensi for the 2019-2024 period with the initials S; S, HKS, SM, GS as a Member of the Semarang City Gapensi for the 2019-2024 period.

Meanwhile, the information they got was Moch. Imron as Secretary of the Semarang City DPRD; Sodri and Hermawan Sulis Susnarko as members of the Semarang City DPRD for the 2019-2024 period; and the Head of the Semarang City Manpower Office, Sutrisno.

Then Damsrin was also summoned as the administrator of the Semarang City Gapensi for the 2019-2024 period; Siswoyo as Deputy Secretary of the Semarang City Gapensi for the 2019-2024 period; and Suwarno, Herning Kirono Sidi, Sapto Marnugroho, and Gatot Sunarto as members of the Semarang City Gapensi for the 2019-2024 period.

"The investigation was carried out at the Semarang Polrestabes," said Tessa without specifying the material to be investigated.

Previously reported, the KPK began investigating three alleged corruption crimes within the Semarang City Government (Pemkot). The details are the procurement of goods and services within the Semarang City Government in 2023-2024, the alleged extortion of civil servants related to incentives for collecting taxes and levies in the Semarang City area, as well as the alleged receipt of gratuities in 2023-2024.

Searches have been carried out in various locations such as in the cities of Semarang, Kudus, Salatiga, and others. From there, documents up to Rp1 billion and 9,650 euros were found as well as dozens of watches allegedly related to the case.

In this case, four people have been prevented from leaving the country for six months. They are Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu or Mbak Ita who is the Mayor of Semarang, Chairman of Commission D of the Central Java DPRD who is also the husband of Mbak Ita, Alwin Basri; Chairman of the Association of Indonesian National Construction Implementers (Gapensi) Semarang City, Martono; and Rahmat Djangkar who is a private party.
