Ahmad Heryawan Becomes Acting PKS President To Replace Ahmad Syaikhu For The West Java Gubernatorial Election

Secretary General of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Aboe Bakar Alhabsy revealed that his party had chosen Ahmad Heryawan alias Aher to become the President's Daily Executive (Plh) replacing PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu who was running for the 2024 West Java Pilkada.

"So we already have a Plh, so it has been decided by Ahmad Heriawan's Plh," said Aboe on the sidelines of the PKS National Working Meeting, Hotel Sahid, Jakarta, Friday, September 20.

Apart from Aher, Aboe stated that TB Soemandjaja was also elected as the PKS Center Advisory Council.

"The MPP has also been given to Mr. Sumanjaya," he continued.

For information, PKS held a national working meeting (Rakernas) from Friday to Sunday, September 20-22, 2024. The opening. Today's National Working Meeting was attended by all PKS DPPs.

"Today we are Rakernas, God willing, the National Working Meeting will be attended by the number of participants in 505, which consists of DPP and Region," said Aboe.

Aboe said, with the holding of this National Working Meeting, the management in his period also ended. He hopes that his replacement can become a better Secretary General.

"So at least it's over, this last National Working Meeting is the end of my period. Hopefully the Secretary General will come even better," he said.

"Finally, for the period we made the report and its evaluation and the main and most important thing was how the number of regional elections followed by PKS could be won," he said.

The National Working Meeting, he said, was also to heat up the party's engine and consolidate that PKS achieve maximum victory in the 2024 Pilkada.
