Not Only Motorcycle Racing, The Selagalas Circuit That Will Be Organized By The Mataram City Government Can Be Used For Roller Skates

MATARAM - The Mataram City Government, West Nusa Tenggara Province, will immediately arrange the Selagalas Circuit area so that it can be used more optimally, both for motorcycle and roller skating sports.

"If it has been arranged, the Selagalas Circuit, which has only been for motorcycle racing activities, can also be a training ground or even a roller skate match," said Head of the Mataram City Youth and Sports Service (Dispora) Suhartono Toemiran in Mataram, Antara, Thursday, September 19.

He said rollerblading was one of the mainstay sports to win a gold medal at the National Sports Week (PON) championship for various numbers.

Therefore, the arrangement of the Selagalas Circuit can be a place for the younger generation to express their talents and abilities in the field of sports, both motorcycle racing and roller skating.

"For the schedule, of course we will arrange for the two sports not to coincide," he said.

In addition to structuring the circuit area, Dispora will also build soccer fields with various adequate facilities.

The current condition of the football field is considered less representative as a training ground for football athletes, including futsal.

In the planning concept, Dispora has made a design for the arrangement of the Selagalas Football Circuit and Field, so that the area can be used optimally to produce outstanding athletes in their fields.

"We are still calculating the budget needs. Once completed, we will expose and offer for the development of whether from the APBD or APBN," he said.
