SUKABUMI - A missing tourist who was swept away by the waves at Cipatuguran Beach, Palabuhanratu District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java, was found dead on Wednesday, September 18 morning.

After being found, the body was immediately evacuated by the joint SAR team and taken to the hospital for examination. The condition of the body is intact and has not been damaged.

The coordinator of the Sukabumi Basarnas SAR post, Suryo Adianto, stated that the victim was found floating by a barge crew in the waters of Cipatuguran.

"The victim was found about 200 miles from the scene, and has been evacuated to the Palabuhanratu Hospital," said Suryo.

Currently, the victim's body has been taken to the Palabuhanratu Regional General Hospital (RSUD), and will be handed over to the family.
