The KPK Said About Jokowi's Clarification Opportunities After Kaesang Reported The Use Of Private Jets

JAKARTA - KPK Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring Pahala Nainggolan said the opportunity to clarify President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) as Kaesang Pangarep's father was open.

Moreover, the Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) reported the use of private jets in his capacity as children of state administrators.

Initially, Pahala explained that Kaesang had filled out a form to report the use of private jets when entering the United States which caused a public stir. There, he mentioned his status as a son of state administrators.

"On the form it is called, Kaesang reports as the son of the state administrator. If the child of the PN, the son of the state administrator, means his father," Pahala told reporters at the ACLC KPK building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Tuesday, September 17.

Meanwhile, when asked about President Jokowi's clarification opportunity, Pahala did not want to talk much. He said, the current analysis process will take time.

"We'll see again. Give me a week (for, red) to think, yes," he said.

"There is (likely, ed). The name is not necessarily yes, it could not be like that. But it's not speculation, that's all about it. We'll see. If it needs something clear (about it, ed) it's called nebeng, yes, we will confirm it," continued Pahala.

As previously reported, the Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep said he had explained about the use of the private jet facilities he used when he made a trip to the United States with his wife, Erina Gudono. He claims that he took a plane belonging to his friend.

"I conveyed information about my trip to the US who was riding or accompanying a friend of mine," Kaesang told reporters at the ACLC KPK building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Tuesday, September 17.

Meanwhile, calm Widjojo as the spokesman for Kaesang said there was a document filled by President Jokowi's son. Meanwhile, Kaesang came to the old KPK office at around 10.30 WIB. He then finished his business at 11.30 WIB.

"Earlier, Mas Kaesang filled out a gratification form. Later, we just have to wait for directions and instructions from the KPK," said Maria Widjojo at the same location.
