Prabowo Asks Ridwan Kamil-Suswono To Win The Jakarta Gubernatorial Election In A Santun Way

JAKARTA - Gerindra Party Chair Prabowo Subianto has given a special message to the candidate pairs for governor and deputy governor of Jakarta 2024, Ridwan Kamil (RK) and Suswono, to win the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election in a good and polite manner.

Prabowo hopes that the two candidates can maintain the quality of democracy in the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election. The message from Prabowo was conveyed by the Daily Chairperson of the Gerindra Party DPP Sufmi Dasco Ahmad.

"Mr. Prabowo's message to the Rido (RK-Suswono) pair through Mr. Dasco, the elected president really hopes that we can win the gubernatorial election in good ways, through constructive, polite, and cheerful politics," said RK in the City Forest by Plataran Senayan, Jakarta, Monday 16 September.

RK added that Prabowo wanted the Jakarta gubernatorial election to be an example of a quality political contest.

"The quality of the gubernatorial election in Jakarta can be an example for others," said RK.

RK also ensured that the supporting parties and winning teams were committed to fighting together solidly. His party targets a victory in one round of the Jakarta Pilkada.

"The direction of Mr. Dasco, who will serve as chairman of the Rido team's supervisory board, has been conveyed. The practical directions include how the winning strategy is, with the target of winning one round, as well as determining areas with high activity. All parties and DPRD members must also move actively," concluded RK.
