Police Check Driver And Kenek Truck Rem Blong Collis Car Kill 2 People In Lampung

The police are examining the driver and truck driver who were involved in an accident with a mini bus on the west (Jalinbar) road, Lemong District, Pesisir Barat, Lampung Province, Saturday, September 14 afternoon.

Head of West Coast Police Traffic Unit Iptu Rudy Apriansyah Unyi said the accident killed two people due to the Hino Fuso box truck number B 9659 SXR suffered a failed brake and hit a red Suzuki Carry Futura with police number BE 2068 BO.

"Of the seven people who were in the Suzuki Carry Futura passenger car, two people were declared dead, namely SI (30) and AZ (4), while five other victims, namely AS (20), ML (35), MA (52), KI (40), and MIH (4), suffered minor injuries," he said when contacted, Sunday, September 15, confiscated by Antara.

He explained that the seven passengers of the carry car were located at Pekon Rata Agung, Lemong District.

Then the truck drivers, namely DM and Kenek DS, came from Tolengas Village, Sumedang Regency, West Java. They suffered minor injuries in the accident.

Due to this incident, the West Coast Police Traffic Unit Accident Unit together with North Coast Police personnel immediately carried out the scene.

As for the chronology of the incident, where Hino Fuso's truck driven by DM (45) and DS (37) drove from Bengkulu to Krui. However, when passing the long downhill road, the truck experienced a malfunctioning brake problem. The truck lost control and hit the right front to the back of the Suzuki Carry Futura which was traveling from the opposite direction, namely from Krui to Bengkulu.

This collision caused Suzuki Carry Futura to suffer heavy damage to the right to the back. While Hino Fuso's truck rolled twice, tearing down one power pole and overthrowing two palm oil trees around the scene.

"Currently, the survivors are being treated at the Lemong Health Center, while the driver of the hino fuso truck and kenek was taken to the West Coast Police for further investigation," said Rudy.
