JAKARTA - Propam Polda Metro Jaya stated that it had taken action against Aipda P regarding the viral extortion action (extortion) at Samsat Bekasi. Currently, members of the traffic police (polantas) are also placed in a special place (patsus).

"So the alleged violator has now been handled by Propam and the person concerned has been placed in a special place for committing violations," said Head of Propam Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Bambang Satriawan to reporters, Friday, September 13.

The stimulus sanctions applied were due to Aipda P allegedly violating service ethics. Where, that is included in the category of serious violations.

However, regarding other sanctions such as dismissal as a member of the National Police, Bambang could not confirm yet. Because, it will be determined in the Police Professional Code of Ethics (KEPP) trial.

"The violation of the suspect is due to a slow service, they are a serious violation," said Bambang.

Aipda P's extortion action went viral after the appearance of a video uploaded to the threads account @arifnurcahhyo.

The video shows a young man who tells the story of the moment he becomes a victim of extortion.

It was stated that the young man was asked for Rp. 550 thousand so that the BPKB management could be faster than usual.

"The police who were immediately told me, bro, if you want to help quickly, but Rp. 550 thousand if you want to be normal for three days," said the man.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi, who had responded to the viral extortion action, stated that Aipda P was being processed by Propam. The police have been removed as Samsat service officers.

"Currently, the person concerned is no longer serving in the traffic service department and is undergoing the process by the Propam Bid," said Ade.
