Process 2 Corruption Cases Irrigation At Dompu NTB FY 2020 And 2022 Wait For The Results Of The Inspectorate Audit

The Prosecutor's Office has confirmed that the corruption case of irrigation canal projects in two areas in Dompu, namely in Sori Paranggi for the 2020 fiscal year (TA) and Kwangko in 2022, is still ongoing.

Head of the District Attorney's Office (Kejari) Dompu Burhanuddin said his party was still waiting for the results of the audit of state losses in the two corruption cases of the irrigation project in Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

"So, the handling of this case is just waiting for the results of the audit from the NTB Inspectorate," said Burhanuddin, confirmed by telephone, Friday, September 13, which was confiscated by Antara.

So far, he continued, his party has pocketed the statements of all witnesses and complementary documents.

The information is based on the examination of the Dompu Kejari against 20 witnesses, including those of the project implementers, supervisors, planners, and ASN from the Dompu Regency BPKAD, the Dompu Regency PUPR Service, and the Dompu Regency LPSE.

As for the irrigation corruption case in the Sori Paranggi area in 2020, the Attorney General's Office has examined 9 people. "The remaining 11 witnesses were examined for the 2022 irrigation canal project in the Kwangko area," he added.

In investigating these two cases, the Dompu Kejari has also conducted searches at three government agency offices, namely the Dompu Regency BPKAD Office, the Dompu Regency PUPR Office, and the Dompu Regency LPSE Office.

The results of the search that took place at the end of April 2024 have been confiscated by a number of documents related to the implementation of the two projects.

Based on information gathered from the Dompu Regency Electronic Procurement Service (LPSE), the two projects were carried out through the Dompu PUPR Service.

For irrigation channel projects in the Kwangko area with the name of the rehabilitation auction of the Irrigation Regional Irrigation Network (DI) Kwangko, it was recorded that it was carried out in the 2022 fiscal year with a budget ceiling of IDR 3.51 billion.

The winner of the auction for this project is CV Vantiyar, which is located in Dompu Regency. The private company emerged as the winner with an offering price of IDR 3.44 billion.

Then, for irrigation channel projects in the Sori Paranggi area with the name of the Irrigation Region Rehabilitation (DI) Sori Paranggi auction, it was recorded that it ran from the 2020 to 2022 fiscal year.

However, for the 2020 fiscal year which is the focus of investigating prosecutors, the local government is recorded to have prepared a budget ceiling of Rp. 2.3 billion. The winner of the auction from the project is CV Bangkit Bersama from Dompu Regency with an offering price of Rp. 2.07 billion.
