Making Fictitious Companies, Russian Caucasians Deported From Bali

BADUNG - Immigration Detention Center Officer (Rudenim) Denpasar, Bali, deported a Russian man with the initials VS (31) for allegedly establishing a fictitious company.

Plh. Head of Denpasar Rudenim, Gustaviano Napitupulu, explained that VS first entered Indonesia in September 2016 using Visa On Arrival (VoA).

While in Indonesia, this foreigner opened a business called PT. BGS in October 2020 and applied for a transfer of status to a Limited Stay Permit (KITAS) investor holder.

"With a valid residence permit until November 19, 2024," said Gustaviano, Friday, September 13.

During the examination, a violation was found by this foreigner. Apart from not reporting changes to his residential address since February 2024, this foreigner has a company that violates the rules.

"Based on checks on August 30, 2024, PT BGS does not have employees and does not show operational activity. In fact, the products in the office come from other companies, namely PT SIT," said Gustaviano.

In addition, during the examination, this foreigner was disrespectful to officers during the examination and threatened officers, who were considered to be disturbing public order.

Immigration deported him based on violations of Article 75, Paragraph 1 Jo. Article 71 letter a of Law Number 6, Year 2011 concerning immigration.

Gustaviano stated that this deportation was part of efforts to maintain order and security in Bali, especially in cracking down on violations by foreign nationals.

"We will not hesitate to take firm action against foreigners who do not comply with the regulations. All processes are in accordance with applicable regulations, and we will continue to maintain Bali's integrity as a safe and comfortable tourist destination," he said.
