Arrest 1 Dealer, South Kalimantan Tabalong Police Seize 17.22 Grams Of Shabu

TABALONG - Tabalong Resort Police, South Kalimantan Police, managed to confiscate 17.22 grams of crystal methamphetamine from suspect HA (36), a resident of Binturu Village, Kelua District.

Tabalong Police Chief AKBP Wahyu Ismoyo said the arrest of the suspect was a follow-up to reports from residents regarding the alleged residence of HA as the location of a methamphetamine drug transaction.

"We found evidence of methamphetamine in the rubber warehouse belonging to the perpetrator," Wahyu explained in Tabalong, Antara, Friday, September 13.

When the examination was carried out, a plastic clip of methamphetamine was found in the right pocket of his pants. Then the results of the development were found again four plastic clips of methamphetamine in a bag located on the top floor of HA's rubber warehouse.

The arrests led by Kasat Narkoba AKP Abdullah on Thursday (12/9) afternoon also found a number of other pieces of evidence including digital scales, a pack of plastic clips and Rp1.7 million in cash.

"During the arrest, the perpetrator slept in the kitchen room at his friend's house in Binturu Village, Kelua District," Wahyu added.

Currently, HA perpetrators are being detained at the Tabalong Police to undergo a legal process with the alleged criminal act of narcotics trafficking class I, not shabu-type plants as referred to in Article 114 paragraph (2) or Article 112 paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
