JAKARTA - A young man was caught on CCTV cameras stealing dozens of packs of cigarettes at a shop on Gang Aim Street, Milling Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta, Thursday, September 12.

"What was missing was 9-10 packs. Approximately Rp. 300 thousand. This is not the first time this has happened, it's the third time, the mode is also the cigarettes that are missing," he said.

The perpetrator left after ten packs of cigarettes were taken away. Meanwhile, the shop owner only realized after finding out the window was open.

After seeing the contents of the CCTV camera footage, Anang admitted that he did not recognize the perpetrator's face.

"I don't even know anyone. Even the children here don't know, no one knows," he said.

Anang has not reported to the Cakung Police regarding the theft he experienced. However, the video recording of the theft went viral on social media.

Furthermore, the Cakung Police have visited the scene to collect data.

"I haven't reported it yet, but the police came here this morning to take information on the chronology of the minutes. I'm here often experiencing theft," he said.
