Assignment Of Suspect Driver Alleged Corruption In Procurement Of Trans Sumatra Toll Road Land Wanted By KPK

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined a witness named Sukidi on Tuesday, September 10. He was questioned regarding his job as a driver as one of the suspects in alleged corruption in land acquisition around the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS).

The project was carried out by PT Hutama Karya (Persero) for the 2018-2020 fiscal year. KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika said the examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"Witness S was present to be investigated regarding the duties and work that the suspect BP had given him as a driver," said Tessa in a written statement to reporters, Wednesday, September 11.

In this case, the anti-corruption commission named three suspects. They are suspected of causing state losses of up to tens of billions of rupiah.

The KPK has not yet detailed the question of the parties who are suspects in this case as well as the mode. However, from the information collected, they are the former President Director of BUMN Hutama Karya, Bintang Perbowo; Head of Hutama Karya's Business and Investment Development Division, Mohammad Rizal Sutjipto, and President Commissioner of PT Sanitarindo Tangsel Jaya, Iskandar Zulkarnaen.

Most recently, the KPK has confiscated 54 plots of land with an area of 622,233 square meters. This forced effort was carried out on 22 May.

As for the details of the 54 plots of land confiscated, 32 of them are in Bakauheni Village, South Lampung with an area of 436,305 square meters. While the rest are in Canggu Village, South Lampung, which covers an area of 185,928 square meters.
