Kidnapped 11-Year-Old Boy, Ojol Driver In South Tangerang Threatened With 15 Years In Prison

TANGERANG - The police have named a suspect against an online motorcycle taxi driver (ojol) with the initials MB (49) who is suspected of kidnapping and molesting a boy with the initials KFA (11) in the Jelungang area, North Serpong, South Tangerang.

South Tangerang Police Chief, AKBP Victor Ingkiriwang said the perpetrator was charged with Article 83 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2014 for amendments to the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection and/or Article 82 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning PERPPU RI Number 1 of 2016 concerning the second amendment to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2002.

"The suspect is threatened with 15 years in prison," Victor said when confirmed, Tuesday, September 10.

Victor said that currently the suspect MB had been detained at the South Tangerang Police.

"We will immediately hold it," he concluded.

The police suspect an online motorcycle taxi driver (ojol) with the initials MB (49) who is suspected of kidnapping a boy with the initials KFA (11). It is suspected that the perpetrator also sexually assaulted the boy.

"It is suspected that the victim was also molested by the perpetrator," said South Tangerang Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head, AKP Alvino when confirmed, Tuesday, September 10.

In carrying out the action, Alvino explained his modus operandi by inviting the victim to help him. Then he gave the lure of some money, so that the victim would be interested.

"The perpetrator allegedly invited the victim to join the perpetrator with the lure of some money so that the victim was interested in joining the perpetrator," said Alvino when confirmed, Tuesday, September 10.

After the victim wanted to join the perpetrator, at that time the perpetrator took him around and was suspected of molesting the 11-year-old boy.

"Furthermore, the victim was taken around on a motorbike and it was suspected that the victim was also molested by the perpetrator," he said.
