Alfamart Consumer Who Was Shot By Rampok In Tangerang Dies After Being Treated In Hospital

JAKARTA - A Alfamart minimarket consumer with the initials FS (27), a resident of Balaraja, Tangerang Regency, who was shot by a motorcycle thief, finally died after undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) room of the Balaraja Regional General Hospital (RSUD).

FS is the owner of a motorbike that was shopping at Alfamart Dukuh Village, Jalan Raya Serang KM 35, Jayanti, Tangerang Regency on Thursday, September 5. The victim died on Friday, September 6.

"The victim was indeed in critical condition on the first day and was treated in the ICU. Yesterday at around 16.52 WIB the victim was declared dead," said Public Relations of Balaraja Hospital, dr. Aang Sunarto to reporters, Sunday, September 8.

He said that currently the victim's body with the initials FS had been taken to the funeral home by the family to be buried.

"The body has now been brought by the family," he said.

Aang said the victim was already in critical condition when he was rushed to the hospital. In fact, his party has carried out operations for the removal of projectiles that hit the part of his head.

"While being treated in the ICU, the victim was given a breathing apparatus and carried out a post-mortem on the outside of the victim. For the cause of death, we could not conclude. Because it had to be a post-mortem, and it was conveyed that it had to be the police," he said.

Previously, a man with the initials SH was shot by a group of motorbike thieves in Dukuh Village, Jalan Raya Serang KM 35, Jayanti, Tangerang Regency, Thursday afternoon, September 5. The critical victim with serious injuries from a hot bullet penetrated his head.

The theft of the motorbike occurred right at Alfamart, Dukuh Village. Before being shot, the victim caught two people trying to get away with his motorbike in the Alfamart parking lot.

"Knowing that his motorbike was going to be stolen, the victim ran out of the minimarket and shouted at the perpetrator," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tangerang Police, Kompol Arief Nazaruddin, Thursday, September 5.

"The perpetrator immediately took out a firearm and shot the victim in the head," he continued.

After the victim lay covered in blood in front of Alfamart, the perpetrator immediately left the location. The victim is currently in critical condition, receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.
