Central PWI Chairman Hendry Ch Bangun Warns Of Dangers Of Fake Letters And Claims Of Illegal Management

JAKARTA - The General Chairperson of the Central PWI, Hendry Ch Bangun, warned the public to be aware of the claims of illegal PWI administrators. According to him, only the official PWI letter was signed by him and the legitimate Secretary General Iqbal Irsyad, and was equipped with a barcode SK of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights at the bottom left. "This fake letter is allegedly issued to damage the reputation of the legitimate management," said Hendry at the Central PWI Secretariat, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, Friday, September 6.

Deputy Chairperson of the Central PWI Organization, Hendra J Kede, added that his party is ready to take legal steps against individuals or institutions on behalf of PWI illegally. "We will take firm action against any violations related to membership, including giving severe sanctions if necessary," said Hendra. One of the cases currently being handled is a letter signed by Sasongko Tedjo and Nurcholish MA Basyari, which is considered invalid and will be processed according to the rules.

Hendra also reminded all Plt Chairmans of PWI in 10 provinces to continue to carry out their duties according to the rules. He emphasized that the valid PWI is the result of the 25th Congress in Bandung, which has been ratified through the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number AHU-0000946.AH.01.08.2024. "Barcodes in PWI's official letter can be scanned and will be directly connected to the Kemenkumham website," he explained.

If there are parties who claim to be PWI administrators with different compositions of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Decree, Hendra calls their actions illegal. "Report to the Central PWI Secretariat if you find anything like that," he said.
