Hundreds Of Central Jakarta LH Sub-dept. Officers Were Deployed To GBK Stadium Today

JAKARTA - Hundreds of officers from the Central Jakarta Environment Agency (Sudin LH) were deployed to the grand mass event of Pope Francis at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta, Thursday, September 5.

"We have deployed 700 joint officers from the Central Jakarta LH Sub-dept. together with the event committee and the GBK," said Head of the Central Jakarta LH Sub-dept., Slamet Riyadi.

Slamet further said, in addition to hundreds of cleaners, his party also deployed 12 sweepers of vehicles or so-called road sweepers.

Then 26 garbage transport vehicles were deployed.

"There are 26 vehicles consisting of two types of vehicles, such as 16 large waste transport cross-vehicles and 10 large trucks transporting garbage," he said.

In addition, the Central Jakarta LH Sub-dept. also deployed 5 units of toilet cars. All officers start working from 15.00 WIB until the activities at GBK are completed.

"We also ask the public to dispose of garbage in its place. We urge the participants who come to bring environmentally friendly drinking bottles," he said.
