JAKARTA - Willing to be a candidate for governor of Jakarta, Ridwan Kamil wants to build homestays in the Betawi village area in Setu Babakan, Jakarta. This discourse is intended so that tourists love the atmosphere of Betawi village like their own home.

The point, continued RK, is to return to the 5th principle, namely Social Justice for All Indonesian People. That is, Jakarta's economy should not only be owned by conglomerates and corporations but also villagers.

"As long as the country is present to manage village tourism, the economic potential of the homestay is staying in the village. Don't talk about prices, but adjust the market," said RK.

"For example, in Setu Babakan, there was a choice for me to return to Simatupang to stay or go to my mother's house, the second floor was empty, neat. I used to be governor in West Java, in the past, Erha's mother gave me a grant so that her room was tidied up, the bathroom was in 3 star class, right, so early in the morning I wanted to have breakfast in front of us, we cooked back to the hotel, better stay there. Well, the idea is, maybe this is one of the first projects in Babakan, this could be a Betawi tourist village homestay," he continued.
