Child Predator In Pasar Rebo Allegedly Obscene Dozens Of Elementary School Boys

JAKARTA IM, the initials for a middle-aged man in Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta. Recently, IM was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pasar Rebo Police at his home, on suspicion of cases of sexual abuse of minors, or child predators.

It is strongly suspected that there were more than ten victims of IM. However, based on the initial report, IM has molested three elementary school children (SD) in the Kalisari 2 area, Pasar Rebo.

The perpetrator IM was arrested by the police around his house in Pekayon area, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta. When the police came to IM's house, the police did not find him at home. But not long after, the perpetrator suddenly arrived.

IM was surprised to see a police officer at his house. He ran away from the police. But finally IM was arrested around his house.

From the results of the interrogation and examination, the perpetrator admitted his actions, molesting a minor.

The mode used by IM was to take the victim's belongings to join him, then molested by the perpetrator.

Pasar Rebo Police Chief, Commissioner Rihold Sihotang said, based on reports received by the police, the perpetrators were suspected of having repeatedly committed acts of sexual abuse against the victims, which estimated to be more than ten children.

"From the investigation, he did it randomly from school to school. We will hand over the IM perpetrators to the East Jakarta Police PPA Unit," Kompol Rihold told reporters, Monday, September 2.

The perpetrator IM was charged with child protection, and the case has been transferred to the East Jakarta Metro Police PPA Unit.

"I urge parents to take care of their children who go to school. If possible, their children will be picked up or entrusted to their teachers at school until their parents pick them up," he said.
