The Difficulty Of Access To JIS Is Still Being Complained By The Community, Rano Karno: God Willing, Roads Can Be Found

JAKARTA - The PDIP governor candidate, Rano Karno, praised the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) which was built in the leadership of former Anies Baswedan.

However, Rano agrees with public complaints about the difficulty of accessing JIS, especially on narrow roads and the lack of parking bags.

"Indeed, the main obstacle is that there is transportation, parking, there is no access. I watched Dewa (concert), at that time he went home by motorcycle taxi," said Rano when met at CFD Sudirman-Thamrin, Sunday, September 1.

Then, if Rano and Pramono Anung win the Jakarta gubernatorial election, the former governor of Banten admits that he will solve the problem of access to JIS so that it is easier for the public to reach.

"Just that. But where is it going, God willing, we can find a road," said Rano.

On that occasion, Rano also responded to the plan for an independent candidate for governor of Jakarta, Dharma Pongrekun, who wanted to free the JIS rental for Persija.

Such promises, according to Rano, are unrealistic. According to him, the BUMD PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) manages JIS at a fairly large operational cost.

"I was asked if it might be free, I said it was impossible. I didn't make sense, meaning that JIS must have operational costs," explained Rano.

However, instead, he will open a special price discourse for Jakmania if Persija competes in JIS. This kind of step, he continued, has been taken at a number of clubs abroad.

"In the Premier League, there is a system. If you take a one-competition ticket, the price is cheap. For example, take a long time. But if it's only one by one, it's definitely expensive," he added.
