BOGOR - Secretary General of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani answered about the composition of the cabinet of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka which was widely circulated on social media (medsos).
Muzani did not deny that he also did not justify the composition of the circulating cabinet.
According to him, the placement of ministers in the government for the period 2024-2029 is the prerogative of the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto as the elected president.
"I don't really understand whether it is valid or not, because it is Pak Prabowo's prerogative," said Muzani as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, August 30.
He explained that Prabowo had a limited discussion with Gibran and a number of leaders of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) party to determine who would be appointed as cabinet minister for Prabowo-Gibran.
