Cawagub Health Test, Rano Karno Admits Fatigue During Treadmill: I'm A 'Ngos-Ngosan' Oplet Driver

JAKARTA - The Jakarta cagub and cawagub couple, promoted by PDIP, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, have completed a medical check-up at the Tarakan Hospital, Central Jakarta. Cawagub Rano Karno admitted that he was exhausted when he was tested for walking and running in the same place or treadmill.

"It's amazing that (his health test, ed) is serious. We came here from 07.00, I thought it was just a joke, I didn't know the treadmill was extraordinary, it was a doctor. I told you, sir, don't take too long," said Rano Karno during a press conference at Tarakan Hospital, Central Jakarta, Friday, August 30.

However, Rano, who is familiarly called Bang Doel, understands that this duration is a mechanism or provision submitted by the KPUD to a team of doctors at the Tarakan Hospital.

Bang Doel also praised Pramono for being stronger when doing treadmills because he used to ride bicycles.

"Of course all the doctors here work professionally and thank God, if the President Director said it was finished on time, yes because of Mas Pramono. He is riding, the treadmill is 10 minutes. The target is beyond 30 minutes," said Bang Doel.

"The one who is bothered by Mas Pram, I am. I am an oplet driver, he is a ride driver, it's hard, right," he continued with laughter.

Bang Doel bersyukur, tes kesehatan cagub dan cawagub itu mampu dijalani dengan baik dan lancar. Anggota DPR dapil Banten itu pun berterimakasih kepada tim dokter yang telah melakukan pemeriksaan hari ini.

Bang Doel also hopes that this effort can be useful for Jakarta residents who will be led in the future.

"But thank God this means that the part we are going through and God willing, tomorrow there will be other tasks. Once again I thank the KPUD, the entire extended family of the Tarakan Hospital, and of course to media friends who have been following us since 4 am. Hopefully what we are doing is beneficial for the people of Jakarta," concluded Rano Karno.
