Golkar Balik Badan Dukung Airin, Andra-Dimyati Considers The Dynamics Of The Pilkada, Drama Kena Prank

JAKARTA - The candidate pair for governor-deputy governor Banten Andra Soni and Dimyati Natakusumah mentioned the transfer of support from the Golkar Party as dynamics and drama in simultaneous regional head elections (Pilkada).

Andra said that since declaring himself to be a participant in the regional elections long ago, the number of party supports is still the same until now.

"That yesterday there was an increase in the dynamics within one day, and then it also decreased in one day, it was the dynamics of the drama that was present in the Pilkada process," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 27.

However, the couple saw that the Golkar Party's decision to transfer its support to the opposing pair, Airin Rachmi Diany and Ade Sumardi, was the sovereignty of each party in determining the candidate pair.

"And as has been conveyed to the leadership, we have never forced it, nor have we ever managed the communication process in each political party," said Andra.

"That's what will later become the KPU benchmark when they register," Andra continued.

He believes that the Forward Banten Coalition, which supports him, will become more solid, and is optimistic about winning the simultaneous regional elections in Banten.

The Banten Maju coalition consists of the Gerindra Party, PKS, Democrats, NasDem, PKB, PAN, PPP, PSI, Garuda and Prima coalitions.

Meanwhile, Dimyati responded casually to the transfer of support from the Golkar Party.

"Yes, just relax, we didn't have Golkar at first, suddenly we were invited to receive the B1-KWK (form)," said Dimyati

"We came, we received, we had received a moral message too. But suddenly there was a change, yes, we have given it again," he continued.

Dimyati emphasized that for the Forward Banten Coalition, there would be no problem if Golkar shifted support. Because from the beginning it was formed, there was no Golkar Party in the pair's declaration of support.

"Just prank it, I've already said it was pranked," said Dimyati.

On Tuesday morning, the Golkar Party turned around to provide support to Airin Rachmi Diany and Ade Sumardi as candidates for governor and deputy governor in the 2024 Banten Pilkada.

Previously, the party had announced support for Andra Soni-Dimyati Natakusumah and provided a B1-KWK form on Monday (26/8).
