JAKARTA - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia has successfully held Wow Indonesia! The 2024 Festival at Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington DC, United States, on August 22-26 2024. Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi was present to provide full support to events celebrating the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia and 75 years of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and the United States.

Retno Marsudi expressed her gratitude to all those who have contributed to the holding of this event, which aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Indonesia and the United States. This festival includes several main activities such as the Knowledge Forum, cultural arts festivals, and the Business Forum. The Knowledge Forum, which was held on August 22 by the World Bank Group, raised topics about Indonesia's economic development, with a special focus on the green economy.

On August 25, cultural arts festivals featured various interesting activities such as fashion shows and appearances of talented Indonesian artists, such as Warren Hue, Andien, and Stephanie Poetri. The highlight of the event closed with the Business Forum on August 26, which carries the theme "Improving Indonesia-United States Economic Relations under a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership."

Artha Graha Peduli (AGP) and Artha Graha Network (AGN) actively participated in this event as a form of commitment to celebrate the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia and commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Indonesian-United States Diplomatic Friendship. Their participation reflects the close relationship between the two countries since the United States recognized Indonesia's independence in 1949. Over the years, this diplomatic relationship has continued to develop in various fields, including politics, economy, and counter terrorism.

Through exhibitions at Wow Indonesia! Festival 2024, AGP and AGN, along with other business units such as Tambling Wildlife Nature Conservation, Bank Artha Graha Internasional, Hotel Borobudur Jakarta, and Electronic City, introduced their conservation and sustainability programs. One of them is Tambling Wildlife Nature Conservation (TWNC), which displays efforts to conserve Sumatran tigers and mangrove forests, as part of their commitment to the environment. In addition, they also promote Indonesian tourism by offering attractive packages to popular destinations such as Jakarta, Pantara Island, and Bali.

Apart from Retno Marsudi, this event was also attended by Minister of Cooperatives and MSMEs Teten Masduki, Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia Filianingsih Hendarta, and Former Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Wishnutama Kusubandio.
