Airin Regarding Strong Warning From Megawati When Carried By PDIP: Mother's Love For Her Daughter

JAKARTA - Golkar politician Airin Rachmi Diany did not take a hard warning from the Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri. He called the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia's statement as motivation so that as a woman he remained strong in undergoing the 2024 Pilkada.

Megawati gave a strong warning when giving directions to regional head candidates promoted by PDIP in the announcement of the third wave, Monday, August 26. One of them is Airin-Ade Sumardi.

"It's okay, it's a mother's love for her daughter, for us as her children, it's something that motivates women to stay strong, women have to go to the field," Airin told reporters at the PDIP DPP office, Menteng, Central Jakarta.

Airin said Megawati's warning would definitely be noticed. Including ensuring conditions on the ground.

"Anyone who has to go down, right, to make sure what happens on the field, what you said earlier, we have to maintain humanity, how we work for the community by going directly to society," he stressed.

"Everything is true, everything is true," continued Airin.

Meanwhile, when asked about his status at PDIP, Airin did not want to answer further. The focus is now more about preparing files for the registration of the Banten Pilgub.

"God willing, hopefully, even if there is a shortage, there are still stages of improvement," he said.

As for her speech, Megawati had reminded regional heads who were promoted by her party to dare to shout against fraud in the 2024 Pilkada. There should be no structured, systematic, and massive ways in the process.

However, there was no loud answer from the cadres and guests. Megawati also repeated her question and had time to appoint Airin.

"Water, speak loudly," Mega said in his speech.

"Yes, it's okay. If you have entered the PDI, you know, watch out," said Megawati.
