JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo hopes that the operation of the Margatiga Dam in East Lampung Regency can increase agricultural productivity in the regions. "In addition to reducing flooding, and providing raw water, the Margatiga Dam can also support agricultural areas through the fulfillment of irrigation water for the fields owned," said Jokowi in East Lampung, Monday, August 26, which was confiscated by Antara. He hopes that with the official functioning of the Margatiga Dam in East Lampung on Monday it can increase agricultural productivity. "It is hoped that the productivity of farmers related to the Margatiga Dam can increase significantly, therefore I inaugurate today the Margatiga Dam in East Lampung," he said.

During this working visit in Lampung Province, the President visited several locations such as the inauguration of the Margatiga Dam in East Lampung, followed by inaugurating Pasir Gintung Market in Bandarlampung City and the Bandarlampung Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) project in South Lampung Regency.
