Despite Being Carried By PDIP, Politician Ahmad Doli Suggested Golkar Not Sanctioning Airin Rachmi Diany

JAKARTA - Golkar Party politician Ahmad Doli Kurnia advised the Golkar Party's Central Board not to impose sanctions on his cadre, Airin Rachmi Diany, who was promoted by the PDI-P to run in the Banten Pilkada, even though Golkar has supported the Andra Soni and Achmad Dimyati pairs. Although it is different from the party's decision, according to him, Airin still has the right to run in the regional election as a citizen because it is guaranteed by the constitution and meets the requirements according to the KPU regulations. "We also give, respecting Bu Airin's political attitude, which is indeed a condition, competently, fulfilling it to be able to nominate in Banten," said Doli at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Antara, Monday, August 26. In addition, he said that the distribution related to the Golkar Party was still given to formally supported couples, namely Andra Soni and Dimyati, so that the attributes around the Golkar Party could not be used by Airin even though he still stated that he was a party cadre bearing the banyan tree. "As long as Mrs. Airin can communicate with friends from the Golkar Party DPP, or Golkar friends in Banten, to regencies/cities, of course we congratulate you, yes, give flexibility, that's Mrs. Airin's personal right," he said. So far, Doli does not know the fate of Airin as a party member because the Golkar Party DPP has not given Airin any assignment letter. Previously, Banten gubernatorial candidate Airin Rachmi Diany and deputy governor candidate Ade Sumardi attended the Announcement of the Regional Head Candidate/Vice Head of Wave Three which was held at the PDIP DPP in Jakarta, Monday afternoon. Based on observations, Airin and Ade, who were promoted by PDIP arrived at 12.56 WIB in the DPP PDIP Auditorium Room together.

Airin is seen wearing red and white batik clothes and matching white headscarves. Meanwhile, Ade wore a red PDIP special uniform with a bull symbol on the left side of the shirt.
